Fushimi Inari Shrine (White Fox Shrine) Kyoto

Fushimi Inari or White Fox Shrine is a very famous place in Kyoto. There are many foxes statue in this place. This place was built to pay a respect to Inari God, Agricultural God. In the tale, A fox was a God’s messenger, which could transform to a human.

The red tunnel is called Torii. It was around 4 km all the way to the end but I walked through only one part of it to take a nice picture. It was hard to get a clear spot since it was very crowded by local and international tourists. I got a fox charm back, so cute.
